Product Designer based in Portugal
Sara Baptista da Silva is a Portuguese industrial and product designer, committed to designing unique products, focused on functionality, eco-conscious use of natural resources, research of new materials, and production techniques.
She studied at UNIBZ in Bolzano, Italy and ESAD Caldas da Rainha, Portugal.

After 3 years in research at CDRSP and finishing his master's degree, he interned at Carpifran, a carpentry company, where he gained valuable experience in the creation and production of customized products, from conception to final delivery to the client. She then took on the role of head of the design and marketing department at the natural stone company Granisel, while continuing to explore the field of digital products.
She is currently immersed in innovative research projects, including the Eco-ceramics and crystal project in Portugal, where she collaborates with leading companies to develop circularity strategies and sustainable products.
At the same time, she contributes to product development at the MARE research center, with some of her projects recognized in the Jan Van Eyck Academies Future Material Bank archive.

She remains open to new horizons in various creative fields, always committed to creating unique products that combine functionality, sustainability and innovation.
